I've used the Control Room cabinet simulator in an attempt to get what I'm after. Within Guitar Rig, each one is going through a rectifier alone. Both are running a separate instance of Guitar Rig. I have two rhythm guitar tracks at the moment (each recorded separately, not just copied and pasted). A decent example of what I'm after can be heard on Epica's newest album "Design Your Universe", though I'm not using a 7 string.įor those of you who want more information, read on for specifics: So, my main interest for the moment is creating a guitar tone that doesn't clash with the keyboards, but retains clarity on every string, without becoming quacky.
